THE CQ VIDEO LIBRARY

The CQ VIDEO LIBRARY is a collection of award-winning "how-to" videos about different areas of ham radio operating, plus an introduction to ham radio itself. These professionally-produced programs run between 45 minutes and 1 hour in length, are non-technical and focus on the nuts and bolts of getting on the air and operating. Awards Won by CQ Videos

Ham Radio Horizons, CQ's basic introduction to amateur radio, has received wide recognition outside the ham radio community. It was a 1994 CINDY Award winner, a finalist in The New York Festivals 1993 awards competition and the International Television Assn. (ITVA) NJ Awards competition. Plus, it was recommended to public libraries by The Library Journal. These recommendations often influence libraries' purchasing decisions.

Getting Started in VHF won a Silver HUGO Award in 1994 for adult educational programs, the 1994 ITVA New Jersey Award, and was a finalist in The New York Festivals 1994 competition.

Getting Started in DXing was a finalist in the 1993 ITVA International Golden Reel Awards competition.

These awards are your assurance that you are purchasing a quality video product when you purchase a CQ video.
