Whistler Exhibits at Hamvention
Bentonville, AR – (May 8, 2014) – The Whistler Group, Inc., a leading industry supplier of state- of the-art electronics showed their new line of Whistler branded Radio Scanners at Dayton Hamvention, May 16-18.
Introducing five new and exciting models at the show, Whistler offers something for all scanner enthusiasts.

WS1010 / WS1025
The line opens with the WS1010 and the WS1025. These 200 channel scanners feature Data Cloning, PC updatable database capabilities, and dedicated Skywarn button for storm watchers. The WS1025 also includes FM radio reception.
WS1040 / WS1065
The WS1040 is a handheld digital trunking scanner with Motorola P25 Phase I capabilities. The WS1040 and its desktop companion model, the WS1065 both feature Object Oriented programming which has often been regarded by users as easy to program and use. Virtual Scanner mode stores 21 various scanner configurations for a total storage capacity of over 38,000 scannable objects. Just as their lower end brother models, these offer a dedicated Skywarn button and Spectrum Sweeper. The WS1065 also ships with a unique in-dash DIN-E installation kit.
Whistler’s top of the line model, the WS1080 is a handheld digital trunking scanner with Motorola P25 Phase I, X2-TDMA and Phase II capabilities. It is ready to use out of the box with all USA/Canada frequencies pre-programmed onto the included SD card. It offers ease of use with a multifunction keypad and has Virtual Scanner mode that can store 200 various scanner configurations. The WS1080 also permits recording by scannable object and saves into a Windows compatible file.
