Announcements Mid-Atlantic QSO Party – This third annual event will take place from 1200Z Saturday, May 13 until 2400Z Sunday, May 14 and focus on the states of Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, and DC. Activity will be on all HF bands from 160–10 meters (no WARC bands), plus 50, 144, 222, and 440 MHz. For more information, go to: <http://www.qsl. net/maqso>. “CQ, CQ, CQ ARMAD” – This will be a phrase heard on the air for the third annual Amateur Radio Military Appreciation Day event on may 27. Amateur radio operators and many clubs will be on the bands to show support to those who serve, our veterans, and retired military members.
