Announcements Long Island Radio Day 2007 – Jointly sponsored by the Long Island Wireless Historical Society and radio station WCWP (88.1 FM), this event will take place on March 3 at the Tilles Center, C.W. Post campus of Long Island University, Brookville, New York. Featured will be various aspects of radio from its earliest history, to old-time radio broadcasting, ham radio, and modern radio communications and controls. There will also be a display and sale of antique radios restored to their original finish and performance. Appropriate vendors and exhibitors are invited to participate.
